She shares that "God helps those who help themselves" is a belief she lives by—a principle rooted in self-effort and inner strength. With this thought, she narrates a story:

There was once a devotee who would visit the temple every single day without fail. With unwavering faith, he would ring the bell and pray with all his heart asking God to let him win the lottery. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and still, nothing changed. Yet, his routine remained the same: visit the temple, ring the bell, and ask for the lottery.

One day, God paused to reflect, considering His role as the giver of blessings to His devotees. Moved by this thought, He appeared before a devoted follower and asked what he truly desired. Without hesitation, the devotee requested to win the lottery. God smiled and gently replied, “It is my role to bestow blessings—but the lottery you seek, have you ever purchased a ticket?” At that moment, the devotee fell silent, realizing his oversight. Despite visiting the temple daily and praying earnestly for a lottery win, he had never taken the essential first step of buying a ticket.

Archana Singh Charan emphasizes that this story teaches us a valuable lesson—if we truly want to achieve something in life, we must first understand where we want to go, where to begin, and what our true purpose is. She explains that the moment we gain clarity about our purpose, the path becomes clearer, and divine blessings follow. According to her, God is a reflection of our faith and belief, and when we act with intention and direction, the universe aligns to support us.

She highlights that while God is always ready to bless us, receiving those blessings requires clarity about what we truly want in life. She emphasizes that to achieve anything meaningful, one must put in consistent effort and hard work. Without action and determination, success remains out of reach.
