Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore, Campus Director at Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies, is committed to enhancing the institute’s visibility while actively integrating emerging technological advancements into the engineering domain.
Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore reflects on a valuable lesson from his childhood that continues to shape his perspective and leadership. Recalling a school trip to the historic Chittorgarh Fort, he shares how that experience opened his mind to exploration, learning beyond textbooks, and the importance of heritage in education. The insights gained from that experience became a foundation for the diverse knowledge he carries today.
While exploring the Chittorgarh Fort during a school trip, a few students picked up toys from nearby vendors' carts without paying. Soon after, the vendors noticed some items were missing and accused the group of students, believing that among so many, someone must have stolen the toys. Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore, then a young student himself, was aware of who took the toys—having been a part of the incident.
Upon discovering the missing toys, Ganesh Sir discreetly approached Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore and requested that he identify those responsible. Though fully aware of the truth, Dr. Rathore chose to protect his friends and deliberately withheld the information. He reflects that, while he understood the importance Sir placed on honesty, his sense of loyalty ultimately compelled him to remain silent.
This incident, however, left a lasting impact on him. He continued studying at the same school for another one and a half years, and during that time, he noticed that whenever he greeted Ganesh Sir, he was often ignored. That silent disapproval taught him a powerful lesson about integrity, truth, and the weight of our choices.
This experience deeply shaped Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore’s perspective. It made him realize the importance of never breaking someone’s trust—especially when someone genuinely believes in you. He reflects that even if a mistake is made, one should have the courage to accept it and ensure it is never repeated. True growth, he believes, begins with honesty and accountability.
